Applicants must have passed any one of the following:-
B.E./B.Tech in Engineering (any branch including CS/ ECEEE/ Civil/ Inst. /Biotech.); B.Arch. or Master's degree in Science/ Maths/IT/Computer Science; MCA

Admission to PG programmes at IIITH will be on the basis of the performance at the Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE) and Personal interview.

PGEE is divided into two sessions, each of 90 minutes.
1. General Aptitude Paper: 1.5 hr duration
This is an Objective Question paper and Calculator is not allowed
2. Subject Paper: 1.5 hr duration

Computational Natural Sciences and Bioinformatics (CNSB) - Objective Questions
Computer Science Engineering (CSE) - Objective Questions
Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) - Objective Questions
